Guy Borenstein is a highly professional and leading gemologist. He holds an FGA diploma by the Gemmological Association of Great Britain and an EGG diploma by the European Gemological College. Borenstein served as a senior gemologist in EGC for five years, during which he managed the `Gem Identification` and `Appraisals` departments, and served as the Director of Education.
Currently, Borenstein functions as VP Gemological Services at Gemewizard, where he is responsible for the communication and relationship with gemological laboratories and institutions around the world and the research and development of new gem-related applications. Simultaneously, Borenstein holds the title of Chief Gemologist of the GWLAB worldwide laboratories, directing the professional fields, research and advanced instrumentation.
